• The 80s–90s J-Pop musical Den’en Universe NY will premiere on Sunday, April 13th, with two shows at 2 PM and 6 PM, at Symphony Space’s Leonard Nimoy Thalia Theater on the Upper West Side.

  This heartwarming musical, filled with both laughter and tears, features nostalgic hit songs from Japan’s Showa and Heisei eras. Audiences will enjoy a vibrant mix of dynamic dance styles—choreographed by top talent from New York’s dance scene—alongside lively musical performances.

  The cast includes a stellar lineup of entertainers based in New York, including former Takarazuka star Layla Sazanami and former AKB48 member Karen Iwata.
