Notice of Relocation in Early 2026
12/09/24
-
Thank you very much for your patronage of The Nippon Club.
We are pleased to announce that the Nippon Club sold its current building on 57th Street in June and will be relocating to “604 Fifth Ave. New York” in accordance with the resolution of the Executive Committee Meeting on October 29, 2024.
The new location is scheduled to reopen in early 2026. The building’s owner, Minamoto Kitchoan, has a retail space for Japanese confectionery on the first floor, and the new Nippon Club will occupy the second through sixth floors. The Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York and the JCC Fund will also relocate to the same location.
The new location is easily accessible by public transportation, being a 10-minute walk from Grand Central Station and a 5-minute walk from the Rockefeller Center subway station. It is also close to the offices of many of our member companies.
In 1963, the Nippon Club moved to its current location on 57th Street and later inaugurated the Nippon Club Tower in 1991. This is the first relocation in 62 years. The new location will provide a place where our members can casually stop by and socialize with other members in a private space as a “members-only club.”
We will announce the official reopening date as soon as it is determined. Until then, we will continue to offer restaurant services, events, art exhibitions, culture classes, etc. as usual in the current location of 57th Street. For inquiries, please contact us at info@nipponclub.org
We look forward to welcoming you at the Nippon Club Tower on 57th Street and appreciate your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Nippon Club, Inc.
