QAre classes open to everyone?

Yes. Both Nippon club members and non-members can take classes.

QWhen does registration begin?

Culture Courses has three semesters in a year; winter (January – March), spring (April – June) and fall (September – November). The registration starts roughly one month before each semester begins.

QCan I join a class after it has started?

Most classes can accept students even if they have already started. However, some classes may not be able to accept new students due to the curriculum.

QCan I get refund if I am absent from class or need to drop out?

No refund will be available if you miss a class. You also cannot have class credits carry over to the next semester. A refund may be possible in unique situations such as being transferred to another country or extreme illness.　In this case, $15 will be charged as a handling charge.

QI last took a full-term course over a year ago. Do I have to pay a registration fee if I want to 　 start taking classes again?

The registering fee is for first time registration only. However, $15 will be charged as a renewal fee after one year.
