2020 Nippon Club Tennis February Tournaments

“Salonpas Cup” Open Doubles Tournament (Sponsor: Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical) & “Shiseido Cup” Women’s Doubles Tournament (Sponsor: Shiseido Americas Corporation) will be held as second tournament of this season at Cary Leeds Center for Tennis & Learning, Bronx. Every year many players participate in this tournament. Please register as soon as possible.
■Saturday, February 22nd, 2020 from 6:00pm (1st half of the tournament)
■Saturday, February 29th, 2020 from 6:00pm (2nd half of the tournament)* Please note that the starting time may change to an earlier time.

Qualification: Nippon Club Members, Employees of Nippon Club’s Bond-holding companies, and their family members. Club Member’s Guests are also welcome to play.
Fees: Nippon Club member $35/person
Non-member $50/person + $5/person (Season Registration Fee)*About Season Registration Fee: Non-member must pay $5 per season (January – March). Those who would Registration participate in the January tournament do not need to pay this fee this time or for the next tournament this year.
Fees: Please pay this fee with the above fee.Format: There will be four classes; Open Doubles A & B and Women’s Doubles A & B. (“Open” is for both men and women.The pair can be two men, two women or a mix.) You can choose between A and B, but basically, A is for advanced players who played at the varsity level, and B is for intermediate players. (However, please note that the Tournament Committee may determine the necessity to change your class, and also that when there are not enough players, Women’s A may be combined to Open B, or we may just have one class for Women’s Doubles.) The Committee will make decisions on the details of the tournament that include whether to have the consolation matches or not. The Committee will make every effort to run the tournament smoothly, but please understand that due to the limited number of courts that will be available for us, there may be a waiting time before and/or after your match. We would appreciate your cooperation.
Registration: Please call or email your registration first, and then complete and mail the registration form below with your check for the fee(s) to arrive at the Nippon Club no later than Monday, February 17th, 2020.
