After over 2 years of the pandemic, many people’s overall health from a medical and mental standpoint has declined. The doctors of the Japanese Medical Society of America (JMSA) will give us a lecture and discuss how to get out of that state and regain and maintain our original health, and get practical advice.
Dr. Kano will discuss the need to maintain health maintenance in pediatric and adult populations with routine checks ups and immunizations and preventative care such as routine screening tests such as colonoscopy and mammogram. In addition, those with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia have suffered a worsening of their condition due to a decrease in exercise, a more sedentary lifestyle, an increase in weight, increase in drinking and eating. This webinar will discuss ways to recognize current health concerns and what to do to regain health and go back on track.
Dr. Matsuki will discuss how the pandemic has greatly impacted the mental health of adults and children. There has been a great rise in anxiety and depression due to social isolation, remote school, and work from home. There has been an increase in conflict among couples. He will discuss how to recognize mental health warning signs and steps to take to regain mental health.
Dr. Asako Miyashita, a Dietitian, will join Dr. Kano and Dr. Matsuki in the Q & A session and will answer various questions from viewers. Please join us with your family, friends, or co-workers.
Takashi Matsuki, MD / Maki Kano, MD / Asako Miyashita, MS, RDN, CDN
