December Report
2020 will end soon. It has been eight months since we started the “Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters!” project on May 7. In December, we delivered bento boxes to medical staff three times.
Initially, we had planned to deliver 5,000 bento boxes in six months, but thanks to your support, we were able to continue this project for eight months and have now delivered a total of 6,110 bento boxes. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the companies and individuals who have supported us.

The rice factory has been donating rice to the “Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters!” project, we are able to deliver bento boxes filled with delicious “made in Japan” rice to medical professionals. Here is the story of Mr. Satoshi Ito, CEO of the company.
‐ How did you get involved in the project?
It all started when I heard that the Nippon Club was delivering bento boxes free to medical professionals. As a small company that has only just started, we are limited in what we can do, but we are always willing to contribute to society in any way we can. Therefore, we offered to donate our rice.
‐ Changes before and after Covid-19.
In addition to delicious rice, we feel that customers are becoming more interested in fermented foods and additive-free seasonings to improve their health. We also feel that there is a growing need for customers to eat delicious rice at home and to order rice online.
The Finest “Made in Japan” Rice
The rice factory New York opened in August 2019 in Scarsdale, Westchester, becoming the world’s first Japanese rice specialty shop. We provide only the finest, 100% pure Japanese rice. Our Japanese rice polishing experts meticulously polish the rice locally in our own rice mill so that you can enjoy newly polished, fresh and delicious Japanese rice here in New York. In addition to rice, we offer a wide range of completely additive-free seasonings and rice accompaniments.
With the onset of the cold season, the spread of the new coronavirus has become serious again. Many hospitals hope that we will continue the “Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters!” project in 2021; therefore, we appreciate your donation.
