Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters! Progress Report Vol. 17
Report of October 2022
Beautiful autumn has arrived. The new coronavirus infection has settled down, and masks are no longer required to wear on public transportation in New York since early September. Although daily life is returning to normal, there is concern about an epidemic of monkeypox, an infectious disease similar to smallpox.
The Nippon Club continues to deliver benro boxes once a week to front line workers in New York at hospitals, NYPD, FDNY, and EMS.
Total number of bento boxes delivered from May 2020 to September 2022: 15,938
We have received thank you messages and photos from the hospital where we deliver the bento boxes, and would like to share them with you.
● Stony Brook University Hospital
● Long Island Jewish Forest Hills Hospital
