Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters! Progress Report Vol. 12

Report for December 2021

It’s the second holiday season since COVID-19 started. People are back in Manhattan, and the city is filled with gorgeous holiday decorations. However, we should watch out for a spread of the Omicron variant.

The “Let’s Support COVID-19 Fighters! – Let’s deliver bento boxes to medical workers in New York” project, which started on May 7, 2020, is still ongoing. In June 2021, the number of bento boxes delivered exceeded 10,000, and by the end of December, the total number of bento boxes delivered will be 12,520. We delivered 6,410 bento boxes this year.

We have compiled a PDF booklet, “Bento Project Hakusho,” (in Japanese only) covering the activities of the project from May 2020 to August 2021, as reported on our website and in our newsletter, “Club News. Please click on “Bento Project Hakusho” below to download.
