Japan Parade 2023 “Nippon Club/JCCI Team” participants wanted!
The Japan Parade will be held again this year on Saturday, May 13, starting at 1:00 pm at Central Park West in Manhattan. The grand marshal will be Japanese American figure skater and gold medalist, Ms. Kristi Yamaguchi.
We will be participating again this year as the “Nippon Club/JCCI Team” as we did last year, and we are looking for members who would like to walk in the parade with us and make the “festivities” more exciting.
All participants will receive a Nippon Club/JCCI T-shirt to wear in the parade, or if you have a yukata or happi coat, you may wear it (please note that we cannot provide a place to change clothes).
Participants must be members of the Nippon Club or JCCI (including family members). You are also welcome to join the parade with your family and/or friends even though they are non-members. Children are also welcome.
