Japan Parade “Nippon Club Team” participants wanted!

The Nippon Club will participate in the Japan Parade to be held on Saturday, May 14, from 1:00 pm at Central Park West in Manhattan. We are looking for people in the Nippon Club members to join the “Nippon Club Team” and walk in the parade with us!

Participants must have a yukata (a cotton summer kimono) for both men and women and are required to wear a yukata on the day of the event to participate in the parade (please note that we cannot provide a place to change clothes). You are also welcome to join the parade with your family and/or friends even though they are non-members. Children are also welcome.

All participants will receive a Nippon Club T-shirt and a Goody Bag from us (however, the T-shirt will be given only to Nippon Club members). The number of Goody Bags is limited and will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis and may end when all the bags are gone.

Those who wish to participate but do not have a yukata may wear the T-shirts that will be distributed on the day of the event.
