Matthew S. Dunn
Co-Chair of Kramer Levin’s Immigration Group, is one of the country’s leading immigration lawyers. He advises and represents a diverse group of clients — including banks, global financial services companies, technology and social media companies, business consultancies, advertising agencies, health care institutions, sports and entertainment organizations, and corporations of all sizes — in the hiring, transfer and retention of foreign national executives, managers, professionals, athletes and performing artists in the United States. Matt works with these companies and organizations to develop the optimal workforce planning and mobility strategies to meet their specific national or global needs, advising them on navigating the complex and often restrictive framework of immigration laws and policies in the United States.
Hiroaki (Hiro) Nishikawara
Head of Kramer Levin Immigration Group’s Japanese Practice, works closely with multinational organizations to address their immigration needs by strategizing around nonimmigrant visa processes involving the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. consular posts. He also guides clients on a wide range of immigration issues including compliance matters related to the employment of foreign national employees. Hiro’s work includes obtaining temporary work visas for intracompany transferees, specialty occupation professionals, executives, and supervisory or essential skills personnel, among others. In addition, he provides comprehensive guidance to help meet desired staffing and timing needs, and he works regularly in obtaining employment- and family-based immigrant visas and/or lawful permanent resident status as well as providing counsel on removing conditional status and applying for reentry permits where appropriate in order to maintain lawful permanent resident status.
Sumiko Webster
Paralegal in Kramer Levin’s Immigration Group, works on employment-based and general business immigration law matters, assisting companies across a variety of industries in obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant work visas, temporary work authorizations, and employment-based permanent residence status for their employees.
