日本クラブでは、年末恒例の日本クラブのホリデーパーティを、 今年も昨年に引き続き、皆様にお好きな参加方法をお選びいただけるハイブリッド形式にて開催いたします。インパーソン・イベントをクラブ会館にて 12月14日（水）に開催し、同イベントを 12月21日～23日の3日間、オンラインで配信いたします。インパーソン、またはバーチャルで、エンターテイメントをご鑑賞いただき、そして安陵シェフの豪華なお食事を、日本クラブ、もしくはご自宅でお楽しみください。

今年のエンターテイメントは、クラシック音楽の美しい世界をご堪能いただきます。出演は、メトロポリタンオペラ・オーケストラで唯一日本人メンバー、ハープ奏者の安楽真理子氏と、今シーズンのメトロポリタン・オペラで ベルディ「ドン・カルロ」、ムソルグスキー「ボリス・ゴドノフ」や、モーツァルト「ドン・ジョバンニ」等で出演するソプラノ歌手の Ms. Erika Baikoff です。

また、インパーソン・イベントでは、会員様同士の交流や、4階バー＆グリルでMSM（Manhattan School of Music）のミュージシャン（寺久保エレナ氏：サクソフォン奏者、他）によるジャズ・カルテットの生演奏をお楽しみいただき、イベントの最後にはラッフルプライズも数点ご用意しております。現在参加申込を受け付けておりますので、会員の皆様にぜひご参加いただき、楽しいひと時をお過ごしいただければ幸いです。

Christina Maxwell

Christina Maxwell is a New York City-based singer, actress and executive. She currently serves as Director at Related Companies, advising on artwork acquisition, cultural partnerships and mental health strategy across the national portfolio. In her role, she also works as the Executive Director and face of High Line Nine, the Related Companies’ collection of nine immersive exhibition spaces in Chelsea.

Also, a seasoned singer and actress, Maxwell frequently performs in concerts and appears on television. Recently, she was seen performing with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra musicians on EDGE in New York City, headlining at Festival Napa Valley and starring on television as the new face and voice of HUMIRA’S national commercial campaign.

安楽　真理子

Mariko Anraku, active as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, is hailed as a “masterful artist of intelligence and wit” (New York Times) and “a manifestation of grace and elegance” (Jerusalem Post). Since 1995, she has held the position of Associate Principal Harpist of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Since her debut as soloist with the Toronto Symphony led by Sir Andrew Davis, Ms. Anraku has appeared with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and New Japan Philharmonic among others. As a recitalist, she has performed in major concert halls including Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Jordan Hall in Boston, Opera Comique in Paris, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome and the Casals, Kioi and Oji Halls in Tokyo. Her impressive list of awards includes First Prize at the First Nippon International Harp Competition, First Prize at the Concert Artists Guild Competition in New York, the Pro Musicis Foundation International Award, as well as Third Prize and the Pearl Chertok Prize for the best performance of the required Israeli composition at the 11th International Harp Contest in Israel. Ms. Anraku’s strong commitment to expanding the boundaries of contemporary harp repertoire has included invitations to premiere works by Toshio Hosokawa at the Donaueschingen Musiktage in Germany and the Wien Modern in Austria. She also gave the US premiere of Jean-Michel Damase’s Concerto “Ballade” with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra. She has recorded exclusively for EMI Classics, including 3 solo albums and “Beau Soir” a duo album with eminent flutist Emmanuel Pahud. Ms. Anraku is a faculty member at the Manhattan School of Music and PMF (Pacific Music Festival). She often serves as a jury member at competitions, most recently at the 20th International Harp Contest in Israel. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the Juilliard School and is a recipient of an Artist’s Diploma from The Glenn Gould School in Toronto. Her teachers have included Judy Loman, Nancy Allen, Lanalee deKant and her aunt Kumiko Inoue. She also studied Oriental Art History at Sophia University in Tokyo and enjoys playing community service concerts at hospitals, drug rehabilitation centers and other venues.

Erika Baikoff

Russian-American Soprano, Erika Baikoff, is a recent graduate of the Metropolitan Opera Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. This season she returns to the MET as Tebaldo in Don Carlo, Nanetta (cover) in Falstaff and Zerlina (cover) in Don Giovanni.

As a Lindemann Young Artist, she sang the roles of Xenia in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov and Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. At Maestro Nézet-Séguin’s invitation, she joined the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra’s tour of Das Rheingold and was featured as the soprano soloist in Mahler’s 4th Symphony with Maestro Rustioni and the Ulster Orchestra. The 2021/2022 season also included debuts with Schubertìada and the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, both of which she will return to in future seasons.
In 2018-2020, Erika was a member of the Opéra National de Lyon Studio, where her roles included Le Feu/ Princesse/ Rossignol in Ravel’s L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, Juliet in Boris Blacher’s Romeo and Juliet, Anna in Verdi’s Nabucco, and the soprano solo in Mahler’s 4th Symphony.

Erika is the first prize winner of the 2019 Helmut Deutsch Liedwettbewerb and the 10th Concours international de chant-piano Nadia et Lili Boulanger with her duo partner, Gary Beecher. Other awards include a Sullivan Foundation Career Development Grant, 2020 Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions Semi-finalist, Career Bridges Grant, Mondavi Young Artist Founders’ Prize, and the Bouchaine Young Artist Scholarship.

Erika is an alumni of the Atelier Lyrique at the Verbier Festival, where she sang Musetta in Puccini’s La Bohème, and the Académie Vocal Residency of the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies from Princeton University and a Master of Music from The Guildhall School of Music.

寺久保 エレナ

1992年札幌生まれ。6歳でピアノ、9歳からサックスを始める。札幌ジュニア・ジャズ・オーケストラに参加。13歳の時、最年少でボストン・バークリー・アワードを受賞。渡辺貞夫、山下洋輔、日野皓正、佐山雅弘、本田雅人、タイガー大越など有名ミュージシャンとの共演やセッションに多数参加。

2010年高校3年生の時に、ケニー・バロンやクリスチャン・マクブライドが参加した『ノース・バード』でメジャー・デビューを果たし、一躍大きな注目を集める。同アルバムは「スイングジャーナル」誌ゴールドディスクを受賞。2011年、2枚目のアルバム『ニューヨーク・アティチュード』をリリース。同年、日本人初のプレジデント・フルスカラーシップ（授業料、寮費免除）を獲得して、アメリカのバークリー音楽大学に留学。2013年、第3作『ブルキナ』を発表。2015年バークリー音大を卒業し、活動の拠点をニューヨークに移す。2016年、アルバム『ア・タイム・フォー・ラブ』をカナダのCellar Liveからリリース。

2018年、札幌のテレビ局HTBに開局50周年記念テーマソングを提供。3月、初めてのレギュラー・カルテットによるリーダー・アルバム『リトル・ガール・パワー』を発表。2019年4月、初のライヴ・アルバム「アブソルートリー・ライヴ！」をキングレコードからリリース。同年、ケニー・バロン・カルテットのメンバーとしてニューヨーク、ディジーズ・クラブに出演し、ツアーにも参加する。これまでに、ルイス・ヘイズ、ジミー・コブ、ルイス・ナッシュ、エリック・アレキサンダー、ヴィンセント・ヘリング、ジョン・ビーズリーの「モンケストラ」などと共演。アメリカ、フランス、ブルキナファソ、チリ、アルゼンチン、オーストラリア等でツアーを行い、活動の幅を広げている。
