CULTURE COURSES
5 Tea ceremony Ryurei course
Omotesenke chanoyu is traditional Japanese Tea ceremony and it has a history of over 400 years. With the modernization of our lifestyle, a new style of tea ceremony called Ryurei, in which tea is served in a Western-style room with chairs and tables, was invented, and is now widely practiced at tea ceremony events. In the class, we use the same tea utensils as the traditional style. This class will be also good as a continued class of the “First Chanoyu Tea Ceremony at the table” class held by Sohga-an. Regardless of a beginner or an experienced tea ceremony practitioner, please feel free to join us.
