Chanoyu＜Sohga-an of Omotesenke Style＞ Trial Class

Starting in the spring term of 2023, we are planning to offer a tea ceremony ryurei class using a table and chairs in addition to our regular class held in a tatami room. Before classes begin, why not join us for a trial class?

Lecturer	Sosen Onishi ONISHI Sousen is a certified instructor of Omote-Senke school of Japanese tea ceremony, and she has been practicing tea ceremony for 18 years. Sousen started teaching tea ceremony classes at Nippon Club in 2017, and she has led tea ceremony events for the public and private groups at various venues including Nippon Club. She also has taught undergraduate and graduate courses such as (intercultural) communication, languages, and research methodology in colleges in Japan and USA. She incorporates her academic expertise into her attempt of deepening and expanding students’ understanding of the Japanese culture through tea ceremony.
